The last date for linking PAN card with Aadhaar card is June 30. A notification in this regard has been issued under Section 272B of the Income-tax Act of the Income-tax Department.
Earlier, the last date for linking Aadhaar card with PAN card was March 31, 2020. But Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharamal has extended the deadline to June 30 due to a lockdown caused by the Corona virus epidemic. Apart from this, Aadhaar card is also required for making PAN card.
According to the income tax law, if the two cards are not linked, the PAN card will expire after June 30. A fine of Rs 10,000 will also be levied. So link the PAN card with the Aadhaar card in 15 days.
